A children's party company held celebrations of its own after its vintage 'fun bus' was chosen to appear on Emmerdale.
Dawn and Nick Simpson have run Dawn and Nick Simpson have run Party Kids in Hutton Cranswick for ten years.
At the centre of their unique party offering is the vintage double-decker fun bus, Sid, which is kitted out with games and play equipment such as ball pools, kee bee pads, cargo nets, slides and bif 'n bash bags.
The couple purchased the 46-year-old Leyland Titan bus seven years ago and have spent more than £40,000 in revamping the vehicle and kitting it out as a fun bus.
Mrs Simpson said: "When my first daughter was very young we saw an opportunity for something of this style for children's parties.
"You're never going to become a millionaire but its a nice business to be in."
The bus hire price varies according to the distance it needs to travel.
People living in the HU1 to HU5 area pay from £160 for two hours with the bus and £220 for the bus plus a package of invitations, party bags, a present for the birthday child and food and drink.
Now bookings may be boosted by Sid's guest appearance in a party scene in Emmerdale last week.
Mrs Simpson said: "It is exciting and it is something a bit different to promote Sid, people are quite keen to book the bus for their own party when they know that it has been on TV.
"I think its a case of if its good enough for Emmerdale then its good enough for me."
Last summer the Simpsons received a phone call from Sue Yule, production manager at ITV, asking about the possibility of filming their party bus.
They then heard nothing until November when Ms Yule called again and asked if they could send Sid for a screen test in Leeds.
Mrs Simpson said: "It was a really strange day.
"My husband took the bus and pulled up at the agreed area and waited.
"A mini bus pulled up and half a dozen people jumped out and ran it round the bus with tape measures and looked at it then said right, you can go now."
In January they travelled to Eccup where Emmerdale is filmed with their two daughters, Holly, 14, and 11-year-old Katy to watch Sid take centre stage in the shooting over two days.
Mrs Simpson said: "My husband and younger daughter are big fans of Emmerdale so they were quite excited to be allowed on set."
The bus appeared on Emmerdale last week in a scene depicting Noah Tate's birthday.
